Nadur is the easternmost village in Gozo. It is the largest village as well with many of its inhabitants Maltese migrants who have returned from decades of working abroad in North America, the UK and Australia. These outside influences can be seen and heard here more than in neighboring villages.

The Carnival in Nadur every February is considered a bit risque by the most conservative Gozitans.
